The house is decorated with traditional furniture and has central air conditioning. Guests will enjoy the Great Room for conversation, breakfast and inspiring views of the mountains and its breathtaking sunsets. The expansive windows in the great room offer magnificent views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Here, Betty serves a full breakfast with many of Virginia's finest items such as Smithfield ham or bacon, brandied peaches, apple butter for the fresh baked biscuits, along with eggs, waffles or pancakes. On other mornings she might serve an egg casserole. It's not unusual to see coffee cake or fresh peach cobbler on the table tempting you. |
